Just to let you know our dog Scruffy arrived safe and well in Wellington after being diverted from Auckland! We caught the 5.45am ferry from Nelson (3hrs), collected Scruffy and caught the 2pm ferry back to Nelson then a 2hr drive to our rental house! It was a long day, but to be honest, as soon as Scruffy was with us we were all fine! He is settling in well to his new life in NZ, lots of beach and hill walks, and we are looking to buy semi-rural so it's a good life ahead for him!
Thank you so much for helping us during that stressful time, and jet lagged conversations at unsociable hours! We hated being away from Scruffy but it had to be done, and now we are a family again! Thank you so much for making your motto "If we can help, we will" - really ring true!
